Meet the face
behind the posts

Hey there, my name is Sabrina Mata and I am a senior in high school planning to attend Northern Michigan University in the fall of 2022 to study Medicinal Plant Chemistry. At nine years old I educated myself on how to crochet through Youtube videos and lots of practice.

In August of 2021, I began to send hats and NICU blankets to Knots of Love to help give chemotherapy patients hats they will love and NICU babies blankets that will keep them warm. Soon after, I became a donation location in Florida since there were none at the time available for knitters and knotters who could not afford to send their crafts to Knots of Love's headquarters in California.

Spreading awareness is a passion of mine and I desire to share all the knowledge and techniques I have gained over the years on this site! Want to brush up on your crocheting skills or just looking for inspiration? Read on to find how-to-articles, patterns, tutorials, and more. It’s my way of getting you involved in all the amazing things we can do every day. Click below to check out Knots of Love's site if you desire to help out today!
